Autumn/Winter 2026 season - new league starting Monday 9th November. Our Monday Women’s B League is full of characters. Known to be vibrant, vociferous and fiercely competitive (in a good way). It’s a favourite for our umpires to officiate and it’s renowned for matches that either end in a draw or come right down to the wire. With 8 teams battling it out for four semi final spots over 12 weeks, this is one fantastic competition. Getting a spot in this league is like gold dust. Places are limited and they disappear fast so this is your chance to get ahead of the game before they’re all taken. Versatility is a fast-paced version of netball that gives you the chance to do it all: defend, shoot 2+ point shots and with plenty of running involved. It’s a perfect option if you’re looking to challenge yourself, step out of your comfort zone and give something new a try while still enjoying the core elements of netball. If you’re interested in pushing your fitness, building your skills, and experiencing netball from a different angle, Versatility could be a great fit for you. It is played on an indoor half-sized basketball court. There are no 'out of courts' on the side lines or goal lines, and you're allowed to bounce the ball off of the walls! Other than that, usual netball rules including contact, obstruction, footwork and where you're positioned on the court apply. Players rotate positions each time they score a goal, from GS -> GK -> GD -> C -> GA -> GS and the cycle repeats. The season starts on 7th September and we are accepting team and individual entries! New to netball or coming back after a break? This is the perfect place to start. Our 6-week beginners training course kicks off Monday 7th September in Angel, running weekly on Mondays from 6:45–8pm. Across the six weeks you'll learn all the fundamentals — footwork, passing, positioning, and game basics — building your confidence on court step by step. Sessions are led by our fantastic coach, so whether you've never picked up a ball before or just want a refresher, you'll be well looked after. No experience needed. Even though it's recreational the league has a a fantastic mix of abilities – from experienced players to those just starting their netball journey – so there truly is something for everybody. After the first phase of matches, the top 4 teams will compete for the Upper Mixed C Cup, while teams finishing 5-8th will fight it out for the Plate Final. Whatever level you’re at, you’ll have plenty to play for and lots of chances to get stuck into some brilliant matches. At the end of the competition, we’ll celebrate in style with an award ceremony at our local pub, where teams usually mingle and have a great laugh. If you’re looking for atmosphere, good netball, and a buzz like no other (on a Tuesday night, no less!), then this is the night for you. If you’re looking for a place to play competitive netball, meet great people and finish your Thursday evenings with a smile (and maybe a drink in hand), this is your league.
